Requirements for this position;
AHPRA registration or eligibility for AHPRA registration if a PESCI is required
Vocationally Registered or working towards Vocational Registration
If required, supervision is available to support Level 1 and above.
Special skills will be supported if possible.
We have allied health professionals working within the practice consisting of dietitian, diabetes educator, psychologist, and asthma educator.
We are AGPAL accredited and offer mixed billings.

GP – Narrandera Medical Centre

Narrandera Medical Centre services our town and outlying areas, including a population of more than 6,000 people.
Our town is situated on the Murrumbidgee River, 1 hour's drive from Wagga, and about that to Griffith as well. There are 3 daily flights to and from Sydney from Narrandera Airport.
We have numerous allied health professionals working within the practice or visiting on a regular basis, including a physiotherapist, podiatrist, dietitian and diabetes educator, exercise physiologist, optometrist, hearing services, and some specialists and specialist outreach clinics.
Our town also has a 22 bed hospital where doctors can work as a VMO if they are interested, or participate in the emergency on call roster.

GP – Riverina Medical & Dental Aboriginal Corporation
RivMed is an Aboriginal Medical Service supporting the community in the Riverina.
RivMed is located in Wagga Wagga with experienced nursing staff and Aboriginal Health Workers. We have allied health professionals working within the practice consisting of podiatrist, dietitian, exercise physiologist and diabetes educator along with an Integrated Team Care (ITC) team to support patients needing supplementary services.
We are AGPAL accredited and bulk bill all clients.

GP – Multicultural Council Refugee Clinic
A weekly refugee health assessment clinic has been operational in Wagga for almost 10 years, initially located at the then Division of General Practice/Medicare Local and since January 2017 as the Refugee Health Assessment Centre (RHAC) from the Multicultural Council office in Wagga Wagga.
The RHAC aims to provide quality, coordinated, primary health care to meet the needs of refugees prior to transitioning to local GPs. The centre currently has two GPs working the roster (with practice nurse support) and operates on a Monday. Due to the increase in number of refugees settling in Wagga, the clinic is increasing to two days per week and is seeking to recruit one or more GPs to work on the roster. Training will be provided. The centre provides:
Holistic health assessments
Immunisation catch ups
Referrals to specialist and allied health services
Dental / pathology on site
Counselling and supports
